CODESYS Connectivity Redundancy is a license that unlocks functions in other product parts. These are functionalities that enable redundant communication between the controller and other devices. Communication redundancy ensures that communication can continue via the second path if one connection fails. This feature can be used independently of the CODESYS Redundancy with only a single controller.

Enables communication using the DNP3 protocol in CODESYS applications. A CODESYS PLC can be configured and used as an outstation or master.

The update to version 2.0.0.0 requires adjustments to CODESYS projects. Furthermore, boot projects created with DNP3 1.0.0.0 are not compatible with CODESYS PLCs that implement DNP3 2.0.0.0.
