The Profisafe V2.6 licence extends your application-based licence of the functional safe PLC to include support for the Profisafe Host safe protocol according to version 2.6. The licence allows the use of Profisafe V2.6 host on your application-based CODESYS safety controller and offers full compatibility with current field devices and network topologies that support this standard.
Advanced features include support for TCI-based parameterisation tools and the use of an i-Par server.
Installation and activation is done easily via the CODESYS License Manager. In combination with an application-based licence, the Profisafe V2.6 licence is a key component for PLC systems that combine both the highest safety standards and modern communication protocols in a scalable concept.

The license does not extend the number of safe connections. This license has to be used in conjunction with a CODESYS Safe Control license
Licensing
Application based license: The CODESYS Control SL runtime system can be licensed with an application-based license.
The license is activated on a software-based license container (soft container) that is permanently bound to the device. Alternatively, the license can be stored on a CODESYS key (USB dongle).
